Unusual winter => Unusual biorhythm
The winter was supposed to be here by this month, usually in the end of November or in the beginning of December. The snow should have precipitated a meter high. The trees were supposed to be white and dry. The ground should be slippery that everyone should get at least a big bruised resulting from the "deep impact". It should be freezing that sometimes we can see the Russians hopping to generate heat in the bus stop.
It's so unusual that our teacher told us that this is the first time in her life of seeing such an unusual winter. The same situation happened in last year's winter. Weather forecast prognosed that it would be snowing only during the mid-January or the beginning of February. Nonetheless, I wish it could be earlier.
Sadly but true, the winter isn't quite here yet. We're sorta like either having a loooooong autumn, or a skip of winter which directly bypassed into spring.
It's rainy, it's filthy, it's wet, it's damp, it's just perfect for one to acquire different kinds of infectious diseases, namely common cold and flu. Our shoes are dirty and wet and the jackets are never dry. The smarter one (like me, nyehehehe) brings umbrella everyday, but still can't protect the backpack from getting wet. The unlucky one got splashed with the puddle of filthy water when a car or a bus sped by while approaching the bus stop.
The most powerful impact on our bodies(Russians' and some senior students') is that our organisms can't adapt well to such that we have headaches, feeling of tiredness and laziness, which is better to be called as "dystony".
I have not got the headache yet, but the latter 2 have attacked me by far. An evening nap which was supposed to be about 1 or 2 hours could be extended to 4 or 5 hours. And then we scare ourselves figuring our that we weren't late to school. See my previous blog about scaring yourself.
Our biorhythms are so screwed up because we can't adapt to the season which has an early sunset and a gloomy rainy day. So we ended up being lazy and tired all day though nothing much was done during the day.
But the upside is that we don't need to freeze ourselves to death while waiting for buses.
